My man McCourt quotes F. Scott Fitzgerald (well, just a name.. hehe..) to begin the discussion -- "There are no second acts in American lives”, which he disagrees, and to which he himself can be used as a counter-example..
While I ain't sure if HK is like America, but I feel like although there is some truth in the statement, I hate this idea so much.. Life is not like religion, that once you're in, you have no out.. At some points, we will absolutely think about getting a fresh start..
But thinking this way won't do one no good.. You give yourself an excuse to be a quitter.. So tomorrow, with my newly-borrowed toy, a widescreen HP notebook, I am going to give a finishing punch to my first act -- a physics-outsider..
Not that I mean to get in, leaving as an outsider is already good enough.. Knowing little is better than none..
