Coz I really have nothing personal to share, in days like that.. I should separate the soul from my body for now, turning myself completely, into a DEBUGGER..
Life before thesis (BT) is dull.. I ain't gaining anything as a person..
I can only WATCH the books I buy or borrow, instead of actually reading them, however satisfying it is to do so..
I bought quite a lot of DOVER's books the last 3 months at Festival Walk's PageONE, each of which costs $1X-4X..
Homer, Plato, Shakespeare, Hugo, Mark Twain, Dostoyevsky, etc., as well as some lesser but still big enough names like James Joyce, D. H. Lawrence..
Just wanna swallow them.. and I will next year.. well, it should really be done in secondary school.. damn..
Education can never be completed, but it has to be done when young, and about this I am quite sure..
At least, I still look young, except that 4th sister just told me my crow's-foot (魚尾紋) looked more noticeable than a 40-year-old..
=====
Why this sudden interest in literature?? I don't really know.. at first, it is just that I wanna improve my Eng to have a good score of GRE General, so that I can get out of this city, which I don't really like..
But then, things go pretty much "uncontrolled", after Frank McCourt's 3 memoirs, and it's like I must allow myself to start a reading debauch..
Older centuries, worldwide, fasincate me..
Sometimes, if you're studying science for an arts reason, you shouldn't go this far.. it's simply wrong to do it.. a guy that hates the use of technology should never dream about being a scientific researcher.. which is why I wake up, and is about to dream another dream..
But I am guessing that this dream will end in 2 years, and I will be ready, for the strangely ordered world outside..
I do think everyone can try to perturb the strange order a little bit..
=====
I am listing so many non-Chinese names, and it's a shame when you do have quite a lot of good old stuff to read in your own language..
With all being said, I do understand there's life outside knowledge and books.. and I am looking forward too to them all..
