I am trying the impossible

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am a newly-registered part-time student. I was told that I would be allowed to take at most 3 courses within my major programme. I would like to ask if it is possible for me to register any additional undergraduate courses offered by other departments, also within the Faculty of Arts, and if it is indeed possible, what are the additional tuition fees?

I am quite serious about the possibility of taking 6-9 additional units of courses offered by the Department of English or the Department of Chinese Language and Literature. I notice that the university allows admission as "associate students of full-time undergraduate programmes" on a non-degree basis, and the tuition fee is $1300 per credit. I would like to know if it could be an option for me, although it sounds redundant.
