又講 "書" 先..

While 'Tis and Teacher Man are both fun to read, I wouldn't recommend them without reservation, as the content (a man of nothing turned into something / triumphs in a classroom setting) would not appeal to everyone..

But Angela's Ashes (about miserable life in the old days of Ireland, its schooling system, and the author's own family) is written as good as it can get in a children's innocent tone.. and we all love children I suppose??

As the author put it, he would change everything in Teacher Man, a good portion in 'Tis, but not a single word in Angela's Ashes, the first coming of his 3 well-sold memoirs (well, what's the word for it.. I know 續集 is sequel, but what is the first book called??)

I just happen to read them in reverse order.. haha.. but this has added more curiosity.. it's like, you know a new friend, and then, you wanna know his past, to see how he becomes the person he is.. I guess that's why "you" wanna see my auto-bio??!! (and so am I, "conversely")

I must be very lucky to have picked up, and then bought for no reasons (I didn't even read a page when I bought it), that book on teaching.. I feel some subtle changes in my choice of books since then.. and it brings me new lights in life, really.. what these changes are I know not, as they are subtle, but I'm feeling it..

which leads me to borrow a book known as "why choose this book?".. it talks about how the brain makes decision.. I'm certainly interested.. I know it may be quite bullshit, but anyway, just give it a try..

it looks like a good introduction to computational neuroscience seems.. and introduction is meant to be a long list of new vocabulary..
