If I couldn't find consolation from the literary works, I could infallibly find it here, 12 of out 10 times, guaranteed. It is from here I understand most of the human-caused sufferings of the "new" age, and what should be the common goal for those who strive to qualify and deserve to be known as intellectuals.
Almost every page, there's new insight. I am not a bit exaggerating to call this "the most important book" that I've ever come across.
It's just too bad that people always tend to look at him as a frankenstein-type crazy scientist. What separates him with other great physicists is, he is not merely an once-in-a-millenium physicist, but also a sincere humanist. With his up-to-the-point and clear thinking, things becomes so easy to understand. I doubt any diehard philosophers could do this. Most of them are insanely complex I've got to say. I still feel like western philosophy's like word-juggling game after all, at least in Chinese translation.
